Hello, I’m Duong (Vicky) – the heart behind Duong’s Beauty Studio. Specializing in nails and lash extensions, I bring over two years of experience to each personalized service. At Duong’s Beauty Studio, beauty is more than a look – it’s an experience of care, calm, and quiet confidence. Through thoughtful techniques and a mindful approach, I’m here to help you feel elegant, refreshed, and beautifully yourself. Please read through each of our policies before booking an appointment. Thank you! General Policies No Foreign Fills: We do not offer fills on lash extensions or nails applied by other lash artists/studios. Appointments Required: Walk-ins are not accepted. All appointments must be scheduled in advance. Pre-Booking: Appointments can be scheduled up to three months in advance to secure your preferred time. After-Hours Appointments: A $35 squeeze-in fee applies to any bookings outside of regular hours. To schedule, contact us via text or Instagram @Duongsbeautystudio Rewards Program Loyalty Rewards: Earn a stamp with each visit, and enjoy 50% off on your 10th visit! (Cannot be combined with other discounts.) Referral Program: Share the love of great nails or lashes! Refer a friend and both of you will receive $20 off your next service. (For new clients only; cannot be combined with other discounts.) Birthday Discount: Celebrate with a one-time $10 off your service when you book during your birthday month. (Please bring a valid ID for proof of birthdate.) Booking Policies Booking Fee A $30 booking fee is required to secure all appointments. Booking fees are non-refundable unless we cancel your appointment. The remaining balance is due at your appointment. Accepted payment methods: Cash (preferred), Zelle, Paypal/Venmo/Cash App (@Duongsbeautystudio), Apple Pay, and Credit Card (2.5% transaction fee applies for credit card payments). For Paypal/Venmo/Cash App payments, please use emojis when sending funds. Liability Waiver By booking, you acknowledge that you understand and accept the risks associated with nails and lash extension services. Potential risks include, but are not limited to, eye irritation, pain, discomfort, and, in rare cases, more serious complications such as allergic reactions or blindness. These risks remain even with the highest level of care in application or removal. If you experience any irritation, redness, puffiness, itchiness, or other side effects during or after the procedure, please contact us immediately for a removal service. The removal process involves applying a chemical adhesive remover to dissolve the lash adhesive, which may result in thinning of the remover as it interacts with the adhesive. By proceeding with the service, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the lash artist from any claims, actions, damages, expenses, and liabilities (including reasonable attorney fees) that may arise from your procedure or any lash products purchased from us. You accept that the lash artist is not liable for any issues related to the procedure or subsequent use and care of the extensions. Lash Services and Refills Arrive with Clean Lashes: Please ensure your lashes are free from oils, makeup, and residue. If cleaning is required, a $15 lash bath fee will be added. No Contact Lenses: Avoid wearing contact lenses to your appointment. No Guests: To ensure a relaxing environment, only clients are allowed in the studio. Avoid Caffeine & Smoking: Please avoid caffeinated drinks and smoking before your appointment. Refill Appointments: Refill appointments should be scheduled every 2–4 weeks. If less than 40% of lash extensions remain on each eye by the time of your appointment, please book a full set. Appointments after 5+ weeks from the last session also require a full set booking. Never expect your lashes to look exactly like someone else's. Each lash set is custom-designed based on eye shape and natural lash health, resulting in a unique look tailored to you. Nail Services Nail Guarantee: We offer a 5-day guarantee on nail services. If chipping or lifting occurs, we’ll gladly fix it. 💅 Nail Services – Special Notes Manicure - Prep: Please arrive with bare nails or let us know in advance if removal is needed. ⚠️ Prohibited Items To comply with MN state law: We do not use or allow products containing MMA (methyl methacrylate). We cannot use tools brought in by clients unless they are new and sealed. Retention and Satisfaction We take pride in our work and want you to love your lashes. If you experience excessive lash fallout, contact us within 3 days for a complimentary touch-up. After this grace period, touch-ups are not offered free of charge. Note: We do not offer refunds for services or products! Additional Services Colored or Lashes & Decals: If you’d like colored lashes or decals, please contact us with your choice as soon as possible to confirm the availability of lash products. Photography Release By booking, you grant permission for photos of your lashes, eyes, and face to be used for promotional, educational, and advertising purposes. Right to Refuse Service & Cancellation Policy The safety of our clients and team is our top priority. We reserve the right to refuse service if we feel there is a health or safety risk, including but not limited to lice, open wounds, infections, or inappropriate behavior. Late & Cancellation Policy Late Arrivals: If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be canceled, resulting in the loss of your deposit ($30) and 50% of the service fee. Cancellations: Please cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance via text or IG @Duongsbeautystudio. For the health and safety of others, if you are feeling unwell, please reschedule. No-Show Policy: First No-Show: A 50% service fee will be charged, and a $30 deposit is required for future bookings. Second No-Show: 100% of the service fee will be charged, and you will no longer be able to book with us. Early Arrivals: You are welcome to wait in our designated area until your appointment. For appointments after 6:30 PM or on weekends, building doors are locked for security. During these times, please wait in your car and notify us by text or call upon arrival. CANCELLATION POLICY
𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄 & 𝐂𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐘 If you are running late, please call and let me know. I want to be able to provide the desired service in its entirety. I will try my best to accommodate the services scheduled; however, if you are 15 minutes late, your appointment is automatically canceled and you will lose your initial deposit ($30) & 50% of your service fee. This also applies if you cancel on the same day. No Exemption! If you must reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so at least 48 hours before your appointment via DM or Text! If you do not feel well or are sick, please reschedule for the safety of my family and me. I will definitely try my best to reschedule you but I can’t always guarantee I’ll have something open. Please ensure that you have overcome your illness by your rescheduled appointment. Some testing results may be required before rescheduling. 👉🏻 If you no-show no-call the 1st time, you will be charged 50% of your service fee, and you will be required to put down a deposit of $30 for all of your future appointments via Venmo or Cashapp! 👉🏻 If you no-show no-call the 2nd time, you will be charged 100% of your service fee, and you will no longer be able to book in the future! If you arrive earlier, please feel free to wait in our waiting area until I am ready for your appointment time. (NOTE that the doors to the building are locked after 5 PM during weekdays and all day during the weekend for security purposes. When you arrive during these hours, please wait in your car and text/call me. I’ll come get you as soon as possible).
